How I Customized Some HLW Tippler Wagons.

I Bought 4 HLW tippler wagons off a friend about a month ago. They have been sitting around doing nothing, so on a rainy afternoon I thought it was an opportunity to recreate some old quarry tippler wagons.

So here is the original Tippler Wagon.
Looking Cheap and standard.

I then took the body off the chassis to be able to spray and dry brush.

Then it was a job of spraying the chassis with a red-ish primer in my very professional spray center.(an old cardboard box!)

When the Primer had dried i covered the chassis and body in black acrylic paint i then gently rubbed off the paint with a paper towel.

I then left them to dry, and then LIGHTLY sprayed them with Halfords Grey Primer.

Until i achieved this final old looking quarry tippler wagon.
